Culturcated has been collaborating with writer/performer Amie Taylor on her new solo show Going to Mars for the last year.

Developed originally for a BAC scratch performance in 2016, Jennifer has been working with Amie to develop a full length script for touring to festivals.

The piece has been chosen to be part of Clapham Omnibus’s Engine Room development programme and has received dramaturgical support to redevelop the script.

An extract of Going to Mars  will be performed as part of a special ‘And That’s Another Story’ edition of the Engine Room at the Clapham Omnibus in May 2017 alongside three other projects in development.

Amie has been a successful applicant of the Mars One Mission: a project which will be sending the first group of humans to colonise Mars.

As she embraces the rigorous training programme she is forced to revisit her past; which brings her to question whether Mars is really right for her after all.
